Watts said, "We ought to bring our minds free, unbiased and teachable, to learn our religion from the Word of God."
Humility is a prerequisite of teachableness. We must be willing to acknowledge to our pride that we do not know everything and then be willing to seek out godly mentors and teachers whose lives bear the fruit of righteousness. Our willingness to set aside our presuppositions will determine the impact instruction will make upon our hearts and minds. Scriptural Foundations: Proverbs 28:26, 26:12; 1 Cor 8:2; 1 Peter 5:5-6.

This is an ongoing battle. There are days when we will find we need a definate 'attitude adjustment'. Realign and realign and realign.
