"The unfolding of your words gives light..." Ps. 119:130 The word studies of Read, research and reason are very enlightening. I was inspired beyond my base understanding of the words!

The Principle Appproach commands a high standard of commitment from both student and teacher. Christ meets us where we are, but earnestly takes our hand to lead us to higher heights.

All of true Biblical education is about seeking the heart of God. Every subject speaks of God's attributes, that we may know Him more. We really only have one "subject" to teach our children; John 17:3, "To know Him, the one true God, and Jesus Christ whom He has sent." Because we have a creative God, He has given us history, science, geography, literature, grammar, and so forth, to give us different perspectives of Himself. The process of reading, researching and reasoning with our children is to cultivate in them the love of learning, not just facts and trivial information, but intimately discover the immensity, and omniscience of our God. Education is a relationship between student and teacher. As we walk, so we lead and draw our children from a far place to one near; nearer the heart of God.

We must set the standard, for ourselves and our children, according to the standard of Christ. We must "train our children up in the way they should go" so that they "(Lay) up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life." 1 Tim. 6"19

I love your comment: "Education is a relationship the student and the teacher." I know you would agree with me when I say that I would even take that comment further to say it's a relationship between the student, the teacher, and the master teacher (Christ).

I do enjoy learning in this way. I have seen God work in and through me as he gives me clarity in a subject area I previously found really foggy. It IS about relationship because as that happens, we are drawn closer and closer to Him.

"Drawing closer and closer to Him," is True Biblical Education! If we can achieve this in our own lives and the lives of our children, we will have been extravagantly successful in fulfilling our purpose in Christ! Praise God!!!
